Providing services to protect, promote and improve the community’s health and the environment.
Quin was established by a Joint Powers agreement in 1978. At that time, it was known as the
K-M-PRL Community Health Services Agency and included the counties of Kittson, Marshall, Pennington and Red Lake.
In 1979, Roseau County joined the CHB and it became known as Quin County Community Health Services/Board.
In 2025, Quin County Health Services officially changed its name to Healthy Quin Counties to help reduce confusion and better reflect its regional focus.
Quin provides financial oversight, grant management and administrative support for state and federal public health funds.
Quin Board meets every quarter on the third Monday (Jan, April, July, Oct). Time varies.
